Shabnum Hanif
Managing Director and Psychologist

Shabnum is an accomplished Psychologist with a unique blend of expertise, combining 15 years of executive leadership in the Oil & Energy sector with a robust background in psychology, psychotherapy and counselling.  

Leveraging her psychological expertise, Shabnum transitioned from working in private hospitals to the energy industry in 2010, where she has excelled in director-level roles at leading companies in the Energy Industry. Her unique perspective, bridging the gap between clinical practice and corporate leadership, allows her to offer insightful, strategic support to both individuals and organisations navigating the challenges of today’s fast-paced world.

After extensive experience in various clinical roles, Shabnum founded IntrospeXion.  IntrospeXion have a qualified team of psychologists who provide  professional mental health and well-being support services to the corporate sector both onshore and offshore.

Whether addressing mental health in the workplace or guiding personal healing journeys, Shabnum is dedicated to building resilience, growth and well-being.

Dr Neelam Zia

Dr Neelam Zia
Consultant Psychologist

Dr. Neelam Zia is a Chartered Health Psychologist and HCPC-Registered Practitioner, specialising in trauma, grief and behaviour change. With a Doctorate in Health Psychology and over a decade of diverse clinical experience, she brings evidence-based psychological support to individuals and organisations navigating complex mental health challenges.

Dr. Zia is highly experienced in delivering EMDR therapy, particularly for clients processing grief and trauma, a neurodiversity specialist and is also a certified trainer in Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), equipping workplaces with the tools to identify, support and manage mental health concerns effectively.

Her background spans private healthcare, education and consultancy, underpinned by a deep commitment to cultural sensitivity and person-centred care. At IntrospeXion, she works closely with both offshore and onshore teams to embed psychological resilience, improve mental wellbeing, and create safer, more compassionate workplace cultures.

Kelly Allen

Kelly Allen
Senior Counsellor

Kelly is an integrative counsellor registered with the National Psychology and Counselling Society, with extensive experience supporting clients through depression, anxiety, addiction, bereavement and adverse childhood experiences.

Her professional background includes working in addiction recovery services, providing counselling within both male and female prisons and supporting individuals in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre.Kelly draws on evidence-based practices and a range of therapeutic approaches to help clients gain clarity, develop effective coping strategies to create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
